A note from Bing Bing's mom...
When my mother was dying (she passed in June, 2019) and all through the pandemic, Bing- Bing was my salvation!
My little guy was the abandoned son of a neighbor’s cat. When the neighbors moved, they left my Chandler Bing & his brother Joey (whom my son took in) to fend for themselves. Bing-Bing was so skittish & scared! Poor fella. He wouldn’t interact with anyone. But then a miracle occurred. Sometimes I needed to take breaks from caring for Mom by sitting on the porch for a smoke, and when I did, he started coming to me—rubbing against me and purring. It was the sweetest thing. I believe he KNEW I needed him.
After Mom died, he disappeared. Then the day before lockdown last year, my neighbor called to say he was sitting at my mom’s old house. I rushed over to get him—he became an indoor cat—and we never looked back. Now he meets me every day at the door when I come home! (Maybe he thinks he’s a dog!) He always knows my moods and constantly lifts my spirits by giving me Eskimo kisses.

It’s just been Bing-Bing and me through all my fears and isolation. He has saved me TWICE!
Who knew the time would come for me to need to return the favor?
He’s always loved his food but one day he stopped eating. He started vomiting. He kept going in his litter box and trying but nothing would come out. After a while, he didn’t want to cuddle or be touched. I was frantic!
I’d had to start over after Mom died. I had found a new job but then the pandemic hit. Things financially weren’t very good. Bing-Bing needed major surgery to be capable of peeing again. He was dying and I had no funds to get him the help he needed.
Of course, since you’re reading this, you know that things turned out wonderfully. It means everything to me to have my best friend and constant companion back. After him getting me through the last 2 years, I don’t think I could mentally cope anymore without him!
