My name is Cosmo, and well…..I’m pawing this letter to say thank you for quite literally saving my life.
You see, I made a not-so-smart decision recently. There was this ribbon… and I just couldn’t resist it. It was beautiful…and a lot of fun to play with, until it wasn’t. Instead of playing with it like a normal kitten, I ate it. Not my finest moment, I would agree. Things got scary fast, and I needed emergency surgery if I was going to have any chance of surviving.
But thanks to your generous heart and the help of Ellie’s Rainy Day Fund, I did bounce back and right into the arms of my human, Sydney.
Sydney is my person. I’m not just her pet…I’m her emotional support animal. When her anxiety takes over, I curl up on her chest and remind her to breathe. When the world feels overwhelming, I purr and nudge my head under her chin until she smiles. She needs me… and because of you, I’m still here to be there for her.
You didn’t just save a kitten—you saved a lifeline.
You gave a second chance to both of us.
From now on, I promise to stick to playing with my springs…no more ribbon snacks for me!
