This inaugural event was attended by a sold out audience who was inspired by lunchtime speaker Colonel (Ret) Cassie Barlow about “The Impact Of Our 4-Legged Friends”, followed by dogs whose lives the donors of Ellie’s Rainy Day Fund have saved modeling one-of-a-kind Halloween costumes designed in collaboration with the Dayton Emerging Fashion Incubator (DE-FI). 

Attendees laughed at the dogs' antics, cried at hearing what all the families had been through, and celebrated the dogs' return to health! 

A fun video of photos submitted by those who came or bought 50/50 raffle tickets enabled everyone’s pets to be part of the show! 

Loads of raffle baskets, gifts for all and a delicious lunch rounded out the perfect afternoon.
