It broke my heart that money was standing in the way of Laila living to her full potential. You brought the light back into Laila’s eyes and the bounce back into her step.
I’m a vet tech in a practice that partners with Ellie’s Rainy Day Fund. I have seen firsthand how Ellie’s helps families keep their pets in their lives. Twin Maples Veterinary Hospital loves Ellie’s Fund because they help us get to do what we all joined the veterinary field to do: save animals.
I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would be doing visitation with an animal. We look forward to every visit and we also found a great friend in Walter. We love them like they are our own. Without Ellie’s Rainy Day Fund, we wouldn’t have Lila nor Walter.
It brings me joy and happiness to volunteer by giving me opportunities to help those in need. It provides me with a sense of purpose and community. I’m so thankful for all the friends I have made volunteering with Ellie’s. I love seeing all the fur-babies we have helped. I look forward to many more wonderful years with Ellie’s Rainy Day Fund.
I am a registered veterinary technician and a certified canine rehabilitation practitioner. I work in the ER and the Rehab department. Without Ellie’s Rainy Day Fund, there would be many dogs in pain or not even able to be mobile. In the ER, I am also thankful that our partnership gives us the ability to avoid euthanizing pets that could be saved.
